This has been a wild ride! I was blessed to attend graduation for my Coastie -- it was the most amazing thing to see my son all grown up. I would not have believed the transformation if I had not seen it for myself. The moment when I got to see and hold my son was worth a million trillion dollars. I am so grateful that Mom In Need Fund made this amazing trip possible. The Mom in Need Fund was truly a blessing in my world just like the Coastie moms are to me.

Vida: My trip to New Jersey would not have been a success without Moms in Need. I am ever so thankful this program was there to assist me with my travel, hotel and a special couple, Mr Gibbs and his companion to guide me into Cape May from Philadelphia late in evening just to make sure I got to my room safely. I was able to witness my son Corylee J Redhorse graduate. I am a proud and very thankful mother. This experience could not have been possible without Moms in Need. Thank you.

Corey: I would like to personally thank your organization for helping my mother and I, at the time, when things were very unstable for us financially. I would like to fulfill your request and send you a picture and a small account of words to share with the public so everyone can know the importance and positive roles your foundation adds to this special branch of service.

As a seaman apart of Deck Force, I reported to the USCGC Healy; an ice breaker, stationed at Base Seattle, WA. There are many positive aspects of my sector and I look forward to a better and brighter future as a Coast Guardsman. If it were not for your funding and generous hearts, I would have not been able to look back on those cherished memories with an important person, such as one's mother and their endless support.
