"Aloha, So Blessed to get to be with my daughter at her graduation. Uniform 191. I want to say thank you so much to all those who make US Coast Guard Mom In Need Fund possible! We would not have been able to be together if not for all of you and it meant so very much to us both. Many Mahalos!

Thanks so much. There no words to express how grateful I'm for the support. God bless you all for this wonderful group! 9/18/14
Please allow me to thank you for the opportunity to attend my son's graduation on October 24, 2014. As it turns out my son was Juliett Company 190's Honor Graduate. The pride that welled up within me (along with the tears) at seeing all of my son's hard work and efforts come to fruition made me all the more grateful that assistance had come from you when I was so desperately in need.... Boot camp was very hard and he'll be the first to say it. But having been through it, he's just that more enthused about serving his family and our great United States....You have provided me... with an invaluable opportunity - that of being with him during one of his proudest moments. Thank you so much, my dearest members of the US Coast Guard Mom in Need Fund for giving me the opportunity to be part of that wonderful moment in my son's life! Can you imagine how excited he was to see me supporting him on his graduation so far from home? I can never thank you enough for providing me with such priceless memories! May God bless your organization abundantly to help many other members have this wonderful gift! Thank you again for letting me see him graduate August of 2014 and be there in person for my son on this special day!!!..."
"(You) came to my rescue to enable me to attend my Son's Graduation on 9/11/15, This was my Son's 22nd Birthday as well. The Graduation was everything I had hoped for, If it were not for your assistance this Mom never would have been able to experience the overwhelming joy of seeing my Son Graduate. To see my son receive his certificate in person...well, I would have missed a milestone in my Son's Life.
There really aren't words to describe that feeling of seeing her come into the gym in formation and then going up and getting her certificate...once they were dismissed...that first hug in 8 weeks!!!! Nothing like it ever!!! She showed me a coin given to her by one of her company commanders for doing an outstanding job while at boot camp. They only gave out 5 of them...so yet another moment of pride.
We gathered up her belongings and hit the road (she REALLY wanted to get home). Along the way, we stopped to eat at Red Robin...we had just sat down when a Vietnam Veteran walked up to her, shook her hand and said..."Thank you". Admit it...tears started to trickle down my face. Thank you again Mom in need fund, I am just so honored to belong to such a group. I never imagined the love and support that I've gotten from the Coast Guard Moms. I don't have much family just me and my kids... The warmth shown to myself, my Coastie and others who ask for support is a daily touch stone of heartfelt love I get from you beautiful women. I thank God for you and ask his blessings upon you and your Coasties in your daily walk throughout life's journey. Thank you for this opportunity.
I am immensely grateful for the funding provided to me to go and watch my daughters graduation. Without this program I wouldn't have had the opportunity to do so.
