I don't know how to express my gratitude to the US Coast Guard Mom In Need Fund for making it possible for me to attend my daughter's Tango 192 graduation! What a proud moment - when I witnessed her achieving this honor! My daughter and I have been on our own since she was five months old, and the eight weeks she was away in training were very difficult for me. Now when I think about the adventures she's about to embark on, I am filled with joy. The 4,300-mile round trip as beyond my financial means but this fund made it possible and I will always be grateful to everyone who contributed to making it happen! |
I want to send out my appreciation and gratitude for USCG Mom In Need Fund who made this happen. Being at CAPE MAY for my son's graduation Tango 192! The experience was amazing with tears of joy to see all these CG men and women finish with pride! I will never forget this beautiful moment when I saw and hugged my son after many weeks. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Best experience ever and meeting all the wonderful people who we all now call our Coastie Family!
"My experience was beautiful and so emotional. I want to thank you for funding my flight and hotel. The graduation was touching and I couldn't help but cry tears of happiness and joy while watching (my son) stand there so handsome and proud in his uniform. Thank you so much." I was overwhelmed with pride and love for my daughter. The Coast Guard has trained her well. She is prepared for any challenges this journey call life puts in her way. I am forever grateful for USCG Mom in Need (Fund) for providing their assistance with the hotel and air fare."

Please allow me to thank you for the opportunity to attend my son's graduation on October 24, 2014. As it turns out my son was Juliett Company 190's Honor Graduate. The pride that welled up within me (along with the tears) at seeing all of my son's hard work and efforts come to fruition made me all the more grateful that assistance had come from you when I was so desperately in need.... Boot camp was very hard and he'll be the first to say it. But having been through it, he's just that more enthused about serving his family and our great United States....You have provided me... with an invaluable opportunity - that of being with him during one of his proudest moments. Thank you so much, my dearest members of the US Coast Guard Mom in Need Fund for giving me the opportunity to be part of that wonderful moment in my son's life! Can you imagine how excited he was to see me supporting him on his graduation so far from home? I can never thank you enough for providing me with such priceless memories! May God bless your organization abundantly to help many other members have this wonderful gift! Thank you again for letting me see him graduate August of 2014 and be there in person for my son on this special day!!!..."
