Okay, what many of you may not know that I wish to share is that if it wasn't for the MIN page; I would have struggled to get to graduation. Here is my Thank you letter:
How does one try to find the words to express how "Thankful" I am. I knew one way or another I was determined to make graduation; I knew it would be tough being a single mother of 3; I had 2 choices work day & night till graduation and not be home for my daughters or ask MIN for help. I decided to ask for any type assistance whether it would be for my hotel stay, gas, tolls anything to help me make ends meet and not cause a struggle for my daughters and I.
Within the 1st week of my son being in boot camp MIN had accepted my application and awarded me with $200, it made my boot camp experience less stressful and I was able to look forward to graduation not thinking of how I would budget to make it happen. With MIN donation I was able to cover 100% of my GAS expenses to Cape May & back home, which was all we needed to make sure my daughters and I would attend.
I hope one day I able to give a MOM in return what was given to us; an opportunity to this once in a LIFETIME event; no MOM should be left behind. The joy, excitement, happiness, nervousness and tears that are felt from the moment you walk into Cape May is nothing compared to the moment I was able to hold my son in my arms. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
